Pumpkin Patch

We had the best weather this weekend.  After all the turkey and baseball (Go Jays Go!), we headed to a local farm to check out their pumpkin patch.

We brought home five of them, and they will likely rot before Halloween...which means we get to do this all over again.  Unless I get ambitious and make all the pumpkin things...

My pumpkin Pinboard, overflowing with all sorts of pumpkin-y goodness.  Just click on the image to see what I might be getting up to in my kitchen.

  10. Looks like fun! We really need to get to the pumpkin patch, but we know if we go to early the squirrels will get the pumpkins before we do! They normally "enhance" our carvings!

  12. We are watching the Jays waste champagne over their heads right now!!!! :)
I am delaying the pumpkin patch visit for another week because the same thing happened to us last year. we bought our pumpkins and then after a couple of frost mornings, basically too soft to carve. This looks like a really nice place.

We haven't done the pumpkin patch. I don't know what we're waiting for. That and the corn maze.

  17. We don't have those super bright orange pumpkins here in Australia. They look so incredible in a field like that and that big pile of them after they've been picked is such a sight. The scarecrow is a nice touch =)

  18. A petting zoo! Well, almost, did they have goats? They're always the cutest. What are those silhouettes? Are they scarecrows, too?
