That's a Wrap


Saying goodbye to September with one more look at those last weeks of summer.














I'm ready to embrace the magic of autumn now.  I see you, red tree.

    1. Thanks Diana! The Shoe Tree is on a cottage road in Trout Creek...about half an hour south of North Bay :)

  3. Looks like a nice end to the summer. I especially like the boater out in the lake, the kids on the dock and the sandy beach with/rock.

    1. The shoe trees are somewhat of a mystery. I did some research, and it would seem that the native North Americans believed attaching mocassins to certain trees would bring good luck....so perhaps a throw back to those ancient beliefs!

  12. A shoe tree? interesting - I'll have to Google that one! great shot though. great shots all around and I'm saying Goodbye to Summer now too. I think I may even have to put some socks on today. We ended the season with a big bonfire too. it's the only way to go. (doubtful it will be the last though, we still have the first winter bonfire to look forward to)

  22. October 1st was like a light switch here. It was warm and humid yesterday. Today was crisp and colorful! I love that.
    Also, the puppy.. so cute.
