Photo a Day

Since having shared this pathetic fruit basket the other day, I decided I needed to take another picture on a 'good fruit' day and save face.

I've also decided we have the laziest dogs on the planet.  Every photo I have looks like this:

On a more active note, soccer has started.  Our youngest is very talented, apparently he can play with his eyes closed:

I regret not having brought my camera out to last night's game.  His older brother was awarded a yellow card for a spectacular slide tackle.  Totally not allowed, but it was awesome.  In his defense, it was raining and the field was very slippery.  So there he was, standing in front of the ref, hands on hips, getting told off with the offending yellow card held high for all to see, and I didn't have a camera.  *Sigh*

And finally, when faced with a nearly empty bag of chocolate chips in the middle of baking something chocolate-y, I had to resort to dismembering the poor chocolate Easter bunny that was lurking in the back of the cupboard:

  1. Chuckling at your dog commentary. Great photos. Have a wonderful WW!

  4. That poor bunny! All of that chocolaty carnage on your cutting board! :-) Great pictures!

    Happy Wordless Wednesday!

  17. Your dog is cute. My older daughter also plays soccer. Over here it's simply called football. American football is not very big here.

  18. Oh my goodness, you gave me my laugh for the day! The bunny is in a better place! Hopefully in your tummy!

  19. These are great! love your comments!
That is one wonderful fruit basket!
That yellow card photo could have been very useful in coming years.
Oh poor chocolate bunny! At least he was turned into something delicious.

  20. Your fruit looks amazing, now I need to do some grocery shopping :)

  21. I laughed at you breaking up the chocolate bunny. Similar thing happened to me when baking yesterday and discovered I was out of icing sugar. So I spent ages grinding up castor sugar with a pestle and mortar.

  22. I think we all have those days, not having the camera on hand or chopping chocolate out of desperation. :)
Thanks for linking on Amanda's Books and More!

  23. I have a lazy dog too. Sometimes I have to check to see if he is breathing... Hahha.

  24. Ha ha, much better with the fruit! I'll have to try that bread recipe below, I'm still chugging away at my giant bag of quinoa from Costco!

  25. Great pics! Thanks so much for sharing it at Diana Rambles!!
