Hey, it's the Weekend!

The sun is shining, the temperatures are slowly creeping up past zero, and almost all of the snow has melted.

There's a subtle shift, as spring arrives.

Tulips spotted in stores.

The end of hockey season.

Longer days.

Omelettes, sushi nights, and green cupcakes.

With the nicer weather coming, here's some motivation to get out and walk.

And with Easter just around the corner, how about some centrepiece and tablescape inspiration.

You could make some spotted Easter eggs, and some mini egg fudge.

Or maybe a batch of bunny cookie bark.

And your Easter breakfast needs these caramel egg stuffed croissants.

Happy weekend!

  3. We ventured out for a walk today because it was warm by the afternoon, only to discover that our walking trails were paths of ICE - because yes, it was still hell frozen over in the shaded woods. But we stuck it out with only a few falls! Love the spotted eggs, and we will definitely be doing those caramel chocolate egg croissants!! Yummy.

  4. Well, I guess I better not complain about the weather down here in NJ, which is hard when you just returned from a Caribbean vacation. But, seriously, it is still freezing at night. I saw the frost on the roofs this morning. During the day it is supposed to get warmer and, guess what, out of curiosity I just checked Accuweather and apparently we are to get 19 °C on Wednesday - wow! But, hey, I'll take the warmth any time. There are definitely signs of spring here now.

  9. This is a brilliant share. I loved all these healthy foods. I am quite health conscious and always take care of food that I eat. My friend suggested me to try Green supplements to stay fit and active as these are herbal pills.
