Hey, it's the Weekend!

Last week's cold temperatures gave way to rain and above zero days this week.  I'm hoping not to see this again anytime soon.

It was encouraging to see the sun setting later - a sure sign that spring is just around the corner.

A shiny new kettle to perk up my stovetop.
The dog, making himself comfortable in the clean towels I dumped on the sofa for folding.  Did he think I wouldn't see him in his camouflage jacket?
Spinach salad.
Making a mess of the kitchen.
Helping a friend turn 50.  It was hard work :)

Cadbury's Mini Eggs are in the stores.  How about some Mini Egg Fudge?

This food tour of Toronto's Little Italy looks like something I want to do!

These Raw Hemp Chocolates look incredible.  Healthy candy!

How amazing is this Instagram Gallery Wall?

And this has to be the coolest thing I've seen all week.

One last thing.  Do you use Steller?  I tried it.  I think I liked it.

Thoughts?

Leave me your user name in the comments so I can follow you :)

Happy Weekend!

  1. Ok so I'm always looking for cool new apps. I have now downloaded stellar and will let you know what I think of it once I've used it. How were you feeling after a night of those birthday shots? I'm actually sitting here wishing we had some whiskey in the house if anything to knock me out to sleep. Being sick has been hard on the sleep pattern. #mg

  2. I love Steller! Your story is lovely, great pics of your dog. I love taking snaps of my dog but she's black so doesn't photograph that well :) You can find me on Steller too (robynyasblog). We're having the opposite experience to you, here in NZ, with the days getting incrementally shorter - I'm not ready for summer to be over yet!

  4. Lovely post with beautiful quote too! Looking at how cold your place can be, I should not be complaining where I am. Gorgeous photos especially that sun setting. By the way, Thanks for linking up with #candidcuddles this week.

  9. Minus 25!! OMG I can't even imagine that kind of cold. I would be using the alcohol as an excuse to warm me up - making up parties for imaginary friends :-) I will go over and have a look at Steller as your photos are great. #PointShoot

  10. Wow that Stellar looks great! You account is lovely, I will have to check this out further! I can not believe that weather!!!!! WE had 39 yesterday in Melbourne. I am always so jealous of snow because it never snows here unless you head to a high mountain in the middle of winter and even then you never actually see it snow unless you stay for days which is so expensive! But -25 sounds painfully cold. My husband has never even seen snow yet, he grew up in Queensland and I took the kids last winter but he was working. Thanks for linking up xx
