460 pictures...and I could have easily taken hundreds more. The kids took almost as many again between them. They were completely enamoured with the animals. The African Lion Safari was everything I remembered it to be.
I managed to narrow the photos down to just over a hundred. Still too many. So they're going to be coming at you in parts.
Like a mini-series :)
These are wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be able to visit there.

I love seeing all of natures animals but the lions are at the top of my list, these are so beautiful, love the one where the female is snuggling!
ReplyDeleteOh you brought back some memories of my time in Kenya and visiting the national parks.
ReplyDeleteSeeing those lions play or veg out atop the rock, it is hard to imagine how ferocious they can become.

ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Looks like you had a great time. Found you on Brilliant Blog Posts #brillblogposts
ReplyDeleteI admit, I am not one who is much into zoos, caged animals and all. I know there is a (good) purpose to it, but still.... Yet, at least on these 'free range safari farms' the animals have got some kind of freedom. You caught some beautiful pictures while there. I am sure it is quite the adventure. One day I hope to be able to go on a safari in Africa and see wildlife - sigh - but, who knows, for now I would settle for a safari farm. I am glad that you guys had fun!
ReplyDeleteWow! Again ... You're so lucky
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning and I can totally understand why you took so many photos. Thank you for adding them to #AnimalTales
ReplyDeletelovely shots of the lions on the plinths. is that on the way from the airport towards Hamilton? I passed by there last June but having lived in Africa for 4 years I decided not to visit.
ReplyDeleteIt absolutely is! It's a decent safari, considering it's smack in the middle of Ontario :)
Deletelol my friend asked if i'd like to visit to which i replied 'i've seen enough lions' so they took me camping to Algonquin but we never saw a bear
DeleteLol, I have yet to see a bear, but we did spot a moose in Algonquin Park...fantastic!
DeleteWonderful photos! :)
