Seeing the Good

Sometimes it takes something drastic to help one re-evaluate their priorities.  A hospital stay is a hard thing for a work-a-holic, but pneumonia is a better diagnosis than a heart attack, and a forced week off of work is a great way to take stock and create a new plan going forward.

Less working, more living.

It's all about the silver lining.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that you were sick with pneumonia in the hospital. I do hope you feel well soon! What a wonderful way to look at the situation, though. I completely agree- sometimes it does take something drastic to make us realize that our daily problems are in fact SMALL compared to something else that may come along. This is such a beautiful quote, and the graphic is gorgeous! Thank you so much for linking up with #candidcuddles! Xx

  3. I hope you (or your family member) gets better fast. My good friend got pneumonia this winter because she thought she was doing too much at once and her body was telling her to slow down. So she did slow down and has felt great since.
Silver lining for sure. And a treatable diagnosis.

  4. Are the doctors sure it wasn't just the rockin' pneumonia and the boogie-woogie flu? Anyway, hope your hubz is better soon and learns to take things easier!

  5. Glad your husband is OK. Tell him he needs to stop to smell the flowers :D Harder to say than do. I keep telling my husband to slow down. But owning your own business is hard work I guess. #PointShoot @2littlefaces http://2littlefaces.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/littlefaces-went-to-peppa-pig-world.html
