First of all, some fall tree shots. Because there can never be enough pictures of leaves parading their best colours.
Maybe I'm starting to like autumn. Just a little.
The plan was to share with you, in pictures, some of the amazing food we devoured on Thanksgiving. Instead I'm left photo-less due to a broken camera. I picked it up to find the shutter release button missing. Completely gone. I have no idea how it happened, and my other camera has been out of commission as the battery pack will no longer hold a charge. Now to decide whether to repair the missing button or buy a new battery pack. Ugh.
Instead I'll share links to the recipes that inspired the last two items on the list, newcomers to our Thanksgiving table.

Another fall leaf shot, just because.
And I'll recycle an older fall photo that I love. We're going to try to get the whole crew to the pumpkin patch this weekend. Hopefully I'll have my camera issues sorted out by then.
Thank you for featuring me!
Oh, those stuffed sweet potatoes sound so rich and delicious! I'd love to try them sometime. Even the quinoa salad looks good and I'm not a big fan of quinoa, generally speaking.
ReplyDeleteI just told my husband yesterday that this is perhaps the first October in ages that I was able to separate from the rest of the year, and realize how awesome it is. Usually I lump it into the last three months of the year, and I really can't stand winter or anything leading to winter.
ReplyDeleteYesterday we drove to New Hampshire to enjoy the foliage and it was wonderful.
I suppose I'll have to cope with winter, as always.
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Everything's great and I love the family picture!
ReplyDeleteThe menu you had sounds amazing - I'd be so bummed if my camera didn't work on Thanksgiving! I hope yours gets fixed soon. This post makes me so excited for Thanksgiving in the States! :-)
