Summer Road Trips

It's here, summertime!  Yesterday was the last day of school and I'm just thrilled to have the next two months free of packing lunches.  I know that by the time September rolls around we'll all be ready for schedules, routines and structured days, but for now it's all about being outside and enjoying lazy, sunshine-y summer days.


And road trips.
  

I love driving, especially when the destination provides an opportunity to make family memories.



Listening to music.  Conversations with the kids, the ones that haven't fallen asleep that is.


Wondering where everyone else on the road is headed.


Watching the scenery slip by.



Here's to road trips and making summer memories.

    My favorite thing ever. My new post is about them, but it's about the 12 hour variety of road trips. Yikes! We're just going to Cape Cod, New Hampshire and Maine this summer. All within four hours or so.

    Have a Happy Summer, Jenn! We're hoping for a nice weekend here in New England, maybe a "dry" one! It has been nothing but rain for the past two weeks here. I'm a little behind on blogging, but still taking pictures ;)

    I LOVE taking car pictures. Most of the time I am driving, so I don't get as many as I liked. Your pictures are fabulous! Makes me want to take a road trip. Have a great summer!!

    I am sooo jealous!! We went on a road trip earlier this summer but I wish we would ave waited....now, everyone else is going and i see so many vacations that I want to go again!!!

    Oh, that's what I miss about the north...school gets out late. Our kids here finished school at the end of May...IKR! So back to school in August...ugh! Lol! Have FUN and thanks for sharing your pics...love them! ;-)
