Photo A Day - Or Not

I'm so glad that I never committed to any Photo A Day challenges.  Life is busy, and sometimes I'm just a photo-every-other-day kinda girl.

I've managed to capture some roadside fall shots with my mobile.

Caught some early morning criss-crossing contrails as the sun was coming up.

Homework.

Hermit crabs, with painted shells.  Saw these at a mall... is this a thing?

I'm in love with this pretty pasta, and the Pink Himalayan Salt I just picked up from Costco.

One crazy set of ears.

And a rack of khakis.  Never assume what colour to bring home when shopping for a teenager who complains that he has no clothes, then refuses to leave the house to shop for some.  Better to snap photos and text until the salespeople are convinced that you're casing the joint for the next great denim heist.

  1. You're a patient Mom! I'd let the kid go bare-ass before I'd shop for his clothes without him there.

  2. I think I take 100 photos a day, but I still can never commit to those challenges! Funky hermit crabs! I would have wanted one so badly when I was a kid. And I laughed that you took photos of all of the khakis. What did our parents do before cell phones to buy us clothes?!

  20. Okay, that last one cracked me up. I also was the personal shopper for my two teen boys. They are now older and do their own shopping (well not so much the younger one as he is only 19 and apparently you don't actually shop until you are in your 20s in our house).

  29. Great photos!! There have been a couple of times that I've looked at the photo a day challenges and just posted on days I've felt inclined to do so. It's a nice creative challenge every now and then. It works for me! Then, some months I take breaks, and some months I go all out. Thanks for linking up at Romance on a dime!!
