October

It's October.  What the heck?

I swear time moves faster with each passing year.  And it's easy to be in denial while we're still enjoying summery weather.  We haven't given up on shorts and flip flops yet, although the days are undeniably shorter, and it's hard to ignore all things pumpkin, everywhere.

At no other time of the year do I feel the push and pull that accompanies every season as strongly as I do this time of year.  Not wanting to let go of what was, while anticipating what's yet to come.

  24. Hi there - Nice shot - I took a similar shot a few weeks ago - but mine was looking up through the new leaves of an oak tree! Welcome to Australia!

PS: sorry for slow reply - I have been out of phone / Internet range for most of the week - it was strangely pleasant!
