Friday, it's Friday!

We're heading into a holiday weekend that promises good weather.  Hooray!

I tried to document a Day In The Life this week.  I took 3 photos.  Seriously, this isn't a hard thing to do, but clearly I can't manage it.  The most exciting part of the day was the deep dish pizza.  Oh, and child number four started his very first part time job.

No, I did not stalk him at work.  Photo compliments of his older sister :)

I made a really good casserole just by using up stuff that was hanging around in the fridge.  I love it when things unexpectedly come together so well.

Cooked tortellini, cooked Italian sausage, a basic white sauce, marinara sauce, mozzarella.  Stir.  Bake.  Eat.  Have seconds.

I've been reading The Silkworm (by Robert Galbraith, aka J.K. Rowling).  I'm liking these crime novels.

I've been listening to No Love by Simple Plan - like, over and over.  I'm not sure why, it isn't new, but I can't help it.  My kids will tell you that I ruin all the good songs by over playing them.

This summer clip art caught my eye.

I've been noticing a lot of recipes with cocoa nibs in them.  Have you tried them?

This clip makes me laugh out loud.  Every. Single. Time.  I love this movie, and I love that we catch ourselves saying on-the-line at home.  All. The. Time.

So, cheesecake with ricotta and parmesan.  Hmmm, must try.

I love this idea for all of those outgrown but hard to part with clothing items.

I wish my gardens looked as good as Nicole's.

  4. I love this movie also. We laugh every time and I have to admit that sometimes I say "On the line" just to irritate my kids....they are grown now but it's still fun.

  5. I saw your comment on Ali Edwards' link-up and just had to comment. I personally LOVE your photos. The imperfect photos are my favorite because this is truly how MY LIFE is: crazy, blurry, rushing here and there. It is what it is!
