And They Went to London

I finally had a chance to go through the hundreds of photos that my boys took while they were in the UK.  I was thrilled to see that they got so many great shots.  Looking at them has me wishing that I could have gone with them, everything looks fabulous! Here's a sampling of the city of London.

I recognize Big Ben, the Tower Bridge and the London Eye...but not the rest.  And even with the help of the the walking map they used, the guys are forgetting what's what.  Anyone familiar with the city care to tell us what some of these beautiful buildings are?

  2. The last one is Admiralty Arch, I think - at the top of The Mall leading to Buckingham Palace. The indoor one, looks suspiciously like Leadenhall Market in the City of London - as opposed to City of Westminster where the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace are to be found. Then I recognised St. Paul's Cathedral as well (the series beginning a couple of shots after the gentleman in scarlet trousers below St. George & Dragon - presumably one of your sons. Believe me, I've lived and worked in London, but many of those I recognise but would have difficulty in labelling! Hope my efforts help though.

  3. I have no idea -- I got Big Ben and the Eye - that was it. But they really did get some fantastic shots. Definitely places I would love to see and photograph myself one day.
